An experience report: InterPARES Summer School

Abstract

The report consists of a description of the experience gathered through the InterPARES Summer school in Italy, it happened in San Benedetto del Tronto in July 2023. The purpose of the report is to present the perspective of a professional, graduated in record management and experienced in the field, in relation to the experiences that were presented in the Summer School. The InterPARES is a project with international dimension that has been contributing with the development of theory and practice of digital records treatment for 20 years. In conclusion, it is a resume of the aspects of this extraordinary experience in terms of professional practice and the alignment of digital preservation in a country that has a great heritage in the archives field.

Luciane Baratto Adolfo, Tribunal de Justiça do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul, RS, Brasil

Arquivista com 14 anos de atuação, sendo 10 anos em liderança e gestão de projetos arquivísticos. Mestre em Engenharia do Conhecimento pela UFSC e Especialista em Gestão de Arquivos pela Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, com publicações relevantes na área. Membra ativa do Comitê do Programa Nacional de Gestão Documental e Memória do Poder Judiciário (PRONAME) junto ao CNJ desde 2019, representando o Tribunal de Justiça do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul (TJRS). Atuou como Coordenadora do Serviço de Arquivos Judiciais e Administrativos no TJRS e atualmente integra grupo de trabalho pela gestão e preservação digital de documentos do Judiciário Gaúcho. Experiência também na área privada, incluindo projetos na área de arquivos de engenharia e em sindicato patronal da construção civil. Integrante da Seção de Arquivos e Direitos Humanos do ICA (Conselho Internacional de Arquivos).
