Implementation of a methodology and measurement digitalization process: study from medicals records

This study aimed to measure and present a methodology of process steps to digitize patients' records. Thus, some new activities in the Archives are being added. One of these is the measurement of existing processes, such as the quantification of tenures and informational flows. This measurement is made from the studies of metric information that the file is termed as applied statistics documentation or archivometrics. Another point is the methodology for scanning medical documents. The procedures and scanning techniques helped in performing the tasks, showing the importance of digital preservation and retrieval of information for such documents. With the experience of two (2) years in document management in health care, was put all the knowledge gained, crafting a new methodology for document scanning health. Thus, further exploration of the area in terms of health and technological documentary aims to increase knowledge and share experiences with other future professionals.
